::I can't understand why this company is receiving so many negative reviews. Maybe it's just that satisfied customers are less likely to leave a review as they haven't got an axe to grind. We've been using this small, independent company since we bought our son a corn snake nearly 10 years ago. We've ordered all the food, bedding, heat mats, etc, all without any problems. Craig has always been very helpful and knowledgeable, and given us much good advice over the years. The result? A healthy, and happy (so far as we can tell) snake. Always order mice a couple of weeks before you run out, as it can take a week or so to arrive. When it does, it is always well packaged. Although there is some inevitable thawing whilst in transit, this is minimal, and the mice are still frozen enough to safely pop straight into the freezer. The mice always look plump, fresh and clean. Please do not be put off by all the negative reviews. A independent company like this is rare these days and needs customer support. We do not hesitate to recommend 888 to anyone who asks us. Thanks and support to Craig and the team.

::Shocking... ordered livestock and took the day off work to receive the package, Stayed in all day until 4pm when i knew something wasn't right. i called them up at 4pm for some illiterate, incompetent tool to tell me "oh no mate, that aint going out today".... so, i stupidly thought these things happen, it is what it is. Took a further 2 days off work to receive the package and both days nothing... i even offered to take the 2 hour trip to collect it but they deterred me away for some reason? Maybe not wanting someone to see from the outside world what condition they keep there animals in? Truly shocking. I wouldn't even give it a 1 star.

::Mice (100 large) arrived 4 days after delivery day and were left with no notification. Defrosted by the time we located them so no use. No reply from emails to 888 :-(

::I personally have never had an issue. I order quite a lot from these guys and other than awaiting some stock turning up (about two weeks wait) which I was kept in the picture about everything I have ordered has turned up in a timely fashion. I mostly buy frozen rats/mice and live food but have recently placed several orders for large items and quantities of equipment with no problems. I will certainly continue to purchase from them.

::Bought a Ball Python in September of 2015. Plenty of communication over the phone discussing delivery and age of the snake. It took about 2 weeks to get the snake. He's very healthy and such a little sweetheart who happily ate 2 days after he arrived. I've also ordered frozen goods from them 3 maybe 4 times in the past and little to no issues.
