  We rented a medium size van, which was in perfect operating condition. The staff was very friendly and allowed for after hours drop off (we only needed it during the evening), so we didn't have to deal with parking.

  Staff were friendly and helpful. Vans were available at relatively short notice for weekend hire. Prices were competitive. Their vans worked well. Convenient location en-rout from the local Shell petrol station. > I hired from A1 Holloway twice for a house move and major Ikea trip, firstly a Citroen Berlingo (small van) and then a Ford Transit 280. The smaller Berlingo had a useful reverse warning beacon which was handy! The larger Ford Transit had no reverse warning beacon, so I had some guidance with parking from my passenger ;-) > I would use A1 Holloway again > Although very useable, the larger van could be updated to include a reversing beacon. Wear on both vans was present but only cosmetic and did not affect usability.

  Nothing bad to say about them, I went to hire a van without any prior reservations. I was served quickly and professionally. The van was in good condition and operated well. Would definitely use this rental company again.

  I've been renting a variety of vehicles from A1 on and off for the past ten years and have always been satisfied. The one time I had a problem with a van breaking down, (it happens) they reached me swiftly with a replacement and I was able to continue my day. I've alway found the staff friendly, amenable and fair. When I once broke a wing mirror, they didn't even charge me for it as they happened to have a spare. You also get a loyalty card so after fifteen rentals, you get a free one! Recommended for those who are not convinced by all these new smartphone app car companies and appreciate the old fashioned notion of human interaction.
