  Very run down needs a fa e lift had it's day BUT still some good shops there.

  Good selection of shops you can get groceries, furniture and even second hand cars there. Is starting to show its age and some of the shops are starting to become empty in the run up to its redevelopment.

  What can I say. Anglia square is an institution and most locals look like they should be in one. Budget shopping at its finest. Play spot the wolf fleece while eating a pasty from greggs. The cinema is the cheapest around just ignore the repaired screen you barely notice it after the first 10 mins. A must visit if in Norwich

  Visit is the wrong word for what I generally do in and around the area known as Anglia Square. Once I lived there, then I escaped there. Sometimes I pass through there on the way to somewhere else. Often, as I remember, I would feel the unmet potential of the place, having alot of parking and a good amount of open space for some kind of outdoor event. My more cynical side leads me to think that it is being allowed to fall into disrepair, eventually the people will choose for it to be raised to the ground so that some other expensive monstrosity can be put in its place. I actually love Anglia square, perhaps it just represents things that I am so sick of. The pound shop, if it's still open, is definitely worth a visit.

  It has a variety of shops, from £1 stores too fresh fruit and veg stores. It also has a snooker hall and antique shops. There are also grocery shops with food from different countries. There is even a vinyl store for old fashioned turn-tables. It's worth a walk around just to see the assortment of different things, old and new. It's the most culturally diverse part of Norwich that I know.
