  If you are srudent who will stay at Birmingham with your family, recommemd this place. It really depend on what you think. You expect to become guest or visitor, you will be just visitor. If you want to understand make international friend, jist knock the door. Manager and staffs are awesome for those.

  I came to UK in September 2011, and stayed here until now. From my personal experience I think that it has improved a lot especially after the new assistant manager Tom Brown started to work here from last year. New showers were installed, roofs were repired, double windows to keep the house warm, more fridges and freezors in the kitch, a new common room and wifi access at the 3rd floor, new furnitures at the main common room downstires, hoovers at every floor, a new sports room, and new carpets, parties during different festivals and picnic in the summer, etc. No matter through big or small things, they put efforts to make Asbury Overseas House a much nicer and more confortable place to stay. Staff here are very kind and supportive, and residence are from all over the world. If you want to make friends, learn from different culture while you are studying or working here, I would say it's one of the best place to stay.
