  Had a lovely meal for my birthday with my sister 2nieces and great niece the service was lovely the waitress was nice quick service we didn't have long to wait for our meal s been the micklehead quite a few times really lovely place to eat

  Just had breakfast. Really nice place, clean and tidy with an excellent selection of pastries, muffins, bagels, cereal and fruit to accompany the traditional English breakfast. Staff were really nice and friendly and with 2 kids eating free with an adult breakfast it was a bargin

  The pub was very warm and welcoming however we visited the pub hoping to sit in the beer garden as it was a lovely day. Very disappointing!!!! The beer garden looked like an after thought that only had a few picnic tables and nothing else. It was basically the rear of a building that some tables had been placed in. I expected a lot more from this chain of pubs and to have at least somewhere for my two children to play. Get with the times Beefeater!!!! The space is available to create a lovely beer garden. What's stopping You????????

  Second time at this beefeater. First time we sat in the bar area, second time was in the restaurant for a family meal. On both occasions food has been very good when it has arrived, but on both occasions has taken an hour to arrive. The restaurant was not particularly busy on either occasion. The lady serving our table on this occasion was very friendly and accommodating, and was also training a new staff member, did have to ask a few times for drinks we had ordered, that again took a little while to arrive. Overall, great food, but service and waiting times could be better.

  Our waitress Alex was very attentive. We were a party of 7 adults and one toddler. Alex ensured the toddler meal came asap. One member of the party had to leave early to go to work. Alex ensured this person's main meal was served as soon as the starters were eaten. Friendly staff, crayons and colouring sheet for the kids, vouchers are really good we got 40% off the mains, took our own birthday cake. Food cooked well, served nice and hot, good value for a family night out, great evening.
