  Staff are excellent and did everything they could to help us enjoy a family meal. The venue is a characterful Georgian house adapted to chain-hotel standards. Food is fairly mundane but fine for family feeding. Public park located nearby so kids can burn off excess energy.

  Lovely spa facilities , beautiful setting. Excellent lunch and great prices We had a voucher deal for 2 course lunch and use of the leisure facilities . Pool area was clean and nicely set out, good steam and sauna. Changing rooms in good condition . Lunch was in the conservatory or small room behind the buffet , we went for the quieter room . Excellent service, great selection of high quality food and good prices too. Will definitely be back.

  Warm welcoming Hotel room equipped with all you need and more....leisure club and beauty treatments on offer ...very low cost for treatments ... Swimming/sauna and steam room free to residents . Clean fresh smelling hotel. Awesome menu to chose from , served by polite friendly helpful staff. Reasonably priced excellent selection of drinks .. Well worth a visit ... I will be back !

  Nice hotel! Great staff very attentive, only 2 small negatives!.. Scones aren't nice!! Taste under cooked (very doughy!) And we found a pile of hair in the bath plug hole!. Lovely surrounding grounds.

  Lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. The new lounge area has been opened up further for more tables and it looks great. Excellent staff, very friendly. Have stayed here before and will continue to any time I'm working in or around Edinburgh. Yeah it's a bit of a bad drive out of the city to here, people still don't seem to grasp the new bridge is 70mph. Worth the drive though.
