  Great facilities but the place could do with updating. My son uses the athletes hall and stadium and the coaching is, from what I've seen superb. There is a viewing gallery in the first floor and stadium seating outdoors at the athletes track. Also there is a gymnasium and multi function hall for football, basketball ball and gymnastics. There is ample parking and the facility is within the famous Stanley Park. Although there isn't a cafe in site, vending machines dispense hot drinks, snacks and chilled drinks.

  I only come here for bouldering, its lots of fun and you can spend hours in there, you can buy chalk at reception a d if you're a student it's only £4.50

  Needs cafe to be available at all times. Went to a large competition there and there was only one snack and one drink machine. Sports hall good size.

  I recently visited this amazing location with other students from Blackpool & the Fylde college. We spent an afternoon enjoying the indoor climbing section with the help of a informative and useful guide. He offered detailed explanations which allowed for some of the rookies out of the group to learn at a fast pace. I highly recommend Blackpool sports centre for active individuals seeking to enjoy a day filled with activities.
