::My favourite bookstore in UK, I always visit it when I am in Oxford. A small shopwindow and a really huge store in the basement with fantastic range and selection of scientific books, and some rareness in the top floor. The ground floor is a well organized normal shop with regular selection, so you can pick normal fiction books.

::I believe that this is one of the best bookshops in the country. It caters for a wide range of tastes, from the exceedingly academic to pulp fiction. The music section deserves praise for having a comprehensive, complete and accessible selection of sheet music for almost every instrument imaginable, and the staff in their respective areas are expert in what they are selling. If you are an Oxford alumnae, don't forget to show the card for a substantial discount.
