::Awful experience, please read on Hi, I had a particularly poor experience with BDS Drains and would like to list some facts to try and avoid you going through the same. If you get a bad feeling about this company, like I did, follow your gut and look elsewhere for your job. I was quoted £1,500 for some garden draining to fix struggling grass. The garden is now worse than when they undertook the work.In summary: - Gave a very basic quote with little detail or commitment, despite their cheery nature- don’t be fooled - Failed to turn up on time on EVERY occasion, being hours late and making me miss work waiting in - Used very basic tools and even used my own items without asking. The van they were driving was in very poor condition. If you look at the image of a blue van used in the Google search result, you’ll be able to see it is in fact a computer generated image. Their white van was falling apart - Promised to complete the job in 1 day but took 3 with no apology or reasoning - Really pushed me for payment prior to ‘finishing’ - Left my house unlocked, with mud all through the kitchen and hall. No attempt was made to clean it up - Left unused materials behind and didn’t clean up after themselves - Are refusing to answer any of polite calls, texts or emails to rectify the problem or provide a refund

::Initial contact was by email, I send over a detailed plan of what needed to be done. The service engineer was very polite and friendly. They got straight down to work after a quick assessment. Wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

::Great service over the Holliday period!! Thank you to team at BDS who came to clear our outside drains on that had been badly blocked. They was very professional and did an excellent job quickly and with minimum of disruption. Nothing was too much trouble for them and if we ever need, or any of our friends and family need any help I would not hesitate to recommend your business to them.

::AVOID THIS COMPANY unless you don't mind paying whatever they take out of your account regardless of what the invoice states. The person on the other end of the phone (I tried twice to get my money back) was very unprofessional and basically told me it was only £20 not £2000 so what was the fuss about? Another promise was made to pay the money back but again this promise hasn't been honoured. Cowboys or sheer incompetence? Update: I did get my money back but not before I contacted Trading Standards and Citizen Advice who told me to write a letter.
