I really like Booths. It always has a wonderful selection of local foods, great selection of fresh bread, and cheese. I usually pop in to the Ulverston shop on my way to the South Lakes to grab some food for a picnic. you have a Booths card, you even get a free coffee on a Saturday. It even emails a copy of your receipt. I wish there was one a lot closer to where I live!

Booths is a local family run company with a long and distinguished history. I love the selection of quality fresh food including meat, fish, vegetables and fruit. Great range of frozen and tinned goods as well. Lots of non food items such as cleaning and health care stock. I love Booths own range of teas and coffees. I recommend getting a Booths Loyalty Card, you get a free hot drink to takeaway every day. Great staff Sewell!

Booths is not currently meeting expectations. Its issues include: reduced staff levels, queues at tills, self checkouts that don't work, low stock levels on shelves, inflated prices for cheese, deli products and fruit and veg. In Ulverston it has a monopoly position unless people are prepared to shop from small outlets in the town centre where they would find better quality and cheaper prices.

I like to browse for things I've never tried before because they stock products not available in regular supermarkets. Also it's worth checking out the current offers. It's easy to access, park and exit from here. Great quality products. One star down because I always have to queue at the checkout.

Nice supermarket, smaller than many stores. Reasonable selection of name brands but often more expensive than places like Tesco. Own brand lines tend to be pricey but good quality. Recently service had gone down hill here, there seem to be less staff on checkouts and shelves aren't being replenished very quickly. Service level and selection don't really justify the prices.
