  Bought spectacles for over £400 having being convinced to buy expensive thin lenses. One lense chipped within a month. This has never happened to me in 30 years of wearing glasses. Wanted to charge me £192 to replace the lens. No concession offered. At least Dick Turpin wore a mask. I talked to the manager, Elaine, today and she has very kindly agreed have the lenses replaced for free, considering that I have only had them a few weeks.

  Very nice people who revoked the £100 parking fine received when I neglected to spot this sign outside their door. If proof were needed my eye test was overdue..😎

  Very impressed with my visit to Boots opticians today. Staff (Tracey especially) were very imformative and friendly and was everything you hope for when it comes to customer service. Left feeling happy and not stressed which I find sometimes comes with sorting out glasses!

  I would like to thank the brilliant staff for their help yesterday. I was visiting from Salisbury for my Sons graduation very special day as he was graduating as a Doctor. To my horror I realised Late at night that I had left my contact lenses at home. After pamicking and not being able to sleep I googled the nearest boots opticians as I am a customer of contact lenses by post. I arrived In the morning just before 8am as the website stated that the shop opened at 8. When we got there the opening hours said 830am. Panick set in again as I wasn't dressed and ready and had to leave for the graduation at 930am. I approached a lady that was just arriving for work and explained my situation. With no hesitation she ushered me inside and I was sorted with new lenses within minutes. Fantastic customer service and made my day. I could see my Son graduate. Thank you again. Next time I will remember to pack them before anything else.

  Let down again by Boots Opticians. Had an appointment booked only to be called on the morning to say it has been cancelled. Really inconvenient. No offer to call other Boots in the area either. Poor customer service. Will be going to an independent opticians instead, who it seems has better technology than Boots.
