Massive store. Can be a bit daunting to find and locate what you need. Well stocked. Massive car park. Only downside is there is no toilets inside the store.

The rudest and least helpful staff members I've ever come across. Sort this s**tshow out B&Q!

Customer Service really bad, no one ever picks up, when they do they really rude specially the bloke called Jayalsey all he wanted to do was get off the phone and not address my issue. Couldn't even get hold of the manager as the guy wouldn't put him on

I visited the store in Charlton where there was no one to help with the rugs because there was some kind of meeting taking place. Maybe being available to assist with a customer looking to make a purchase was urgently being discussed, I doubt it though, because after clearly explaining to an employee after a fifteen minute wait what it was I was after he mumbled something I wasn't able to understand. Anyhow, there is a section by the rugs where the customer can see the rugs suspended and and feel the texture, fortunately this inanimate area was very helpful. This was originally part of a review about an in store product I was looking at and would have gone straight onto the B and Q website itself but they state their website prohibits comments about customer experience, not surprised.

This store is beyond a joke. Every time I come here I am reminded of the poor service and vow never to come again. Unfortunately it's on my way home so I always end up crossing my fingers and coming back hoping it's improved. It never does. Completely understaffed, zero customer service, and always fails to get anything right. On my last visit I had filled a trolley with all sorts of materials for a job, then was told at the checkout that I couldn't purchase any of it as the store had actually closed and they had even locked up. Apparently they didn't have enough staff to make any announcements and there was so few people that nobody noticed me still walking around shopping. Good luck if you ever want any timber cut; you're expected to load up your timber, take it to the checkout where there is usually one person working, wait an eternity to pay, then need to take it back to the saw, spend a few months trying to locate whoever is supposed to be operating the saw, pray that the operator actually understands measurements (I've had a few that don't), then when you've had your cuts finished you get to go back to the checkout and queue again to pay for them. Only tonight, I was told AFTER I had located, loaded, and paid for my timber that the saw was out of order. I was then directed to the returns desk where I was able to enjoy waiting even longer for the cashier to first appear, then deal with other customers, then return my money and thus complete another completely useless visit to B&Q. Once again completely wasting my time, and demonstrating seriously impressive levels of indifference and even incompetence in their staff. They can't even be bothered to put a sign up saying the trade counter is closed, making you feel like a complete berk when you walk up to the completely lit up entrance to find that the door doesn't open and deduce that it must be closed contrary to appearances.
