  This branch is really big and has a lot of stock held. Big car park too as it’s located in a retail car park. About 90% of the tine they have what I need, and also hire vans out hourly for bulky items that need transported to your destination. The only thing is, it a little difficult to find what you need here as it’s not as organised as other branches I’ve been to. I found their customer service a bit too relaxed for their job role (like they don’t care) so they need to improve in that department.

  Don’t waste your time, go to Bunnings In Walthamstow if you want to be treated like a valued customer and given proper advice! I wish I could give 0 stars. I grew up in the area and this b&q used to be pretty good. As few years back something changed, layout appalling, can’t find anything, no staff to help etc. Today was by far the worst. I order for click and collect, item in stock, I paid, receive email that it’s ready for collection, great all going well so far. Fast forward to me driving to the store to be told the item is not in stock (sold to someone else yesterday allegedly) and they can’t sell me one on display because that’s sold too (wasn’t marked sold). Lol. What a shambles. No apology no attempt to try and find a nearby store who might have it in stock. Before the matter had been resolved, the cashier (Farhana) simply moved to serve someone else. When I told her she hadn’t finished with me or processed my refund she called me rude!! Long story short the item wasn’t sold out they were clearly holding it back for someone, despite taking my £140 for something I never received. Manger turned up after the whole thing was done and I was walking out of the store, he just stared blankly and I’m not entirely sure he was even awake or present on this planet. Drove down to Bunnings in Walthamstow (old Homebase location) and received impeccable service. They had a better range to choose from and the staff were so helpful and knowledgable, loading up my trolley and helping with packing the car. Never returning to this b&q again.

  Generally speaking the customer service is pretty poor at this branch - we went twice looking for some advice about the appropriate materials to build a breakfast bar in our kitchen, which should be quite a simple task, yet the lack of knowledgeable staff first time around made it an impossible one for DIY novices like us. Upon the return visit we came across Martin in the wood cutting shop, who went truly above and beyond after helping us size down the worktop we wanted. Thanks to this guy and this guy alone we navigated the maze of the store to find all the right materials quickly, and received some useful advice about the installation of the product against a dry wall. Conclusion - they're got a reasonable selection of items scattered across the store but you either need to know what you're looking for or luck out in finding someone who is able and willing to help.

  Just went to the Leyton B&Q store as disabled customers and staff was unwilling to load 3 bonding bags on to the trolley, as we can't lift heavy items due to our medical conditions. This is is the first time I see commercial building shop like B&Q showing discrimination towards disabled customers. I would advise B&Q to relook into their customer service policy. It's not fair for vulnerable customers who can't lift items that they require at B&Q stores across the UK.

  Good service, nice and helpful staff. Good allocation of the products and proper labelling. Easy returns process. The minus is not enough employees to serve the customer.
