I am very disappointed indeed. What are you doing Brighton & Hove City Council authorities? why not provide shelters for homeless individuals? why not clean the city? Services such as bus tickets and council tax are amongst the most expensive in the country and yet services below average and standard expected!

Visited Brighton this weekend. Streets filthy looks like pavements not cleaned in ages. Loads of rubbish lying around. Lots of homeless begging. Public toilets by the Pavillion in a horrible state despite it saying there is an attendant. Don't understand where the city is spending it's money as parking costs high and a standard hotel really expensive. Some one needs to get their act in gear. Won't be back.

My wife and I are regularly visititors to our daughter who lives in Livingston Road Hove we are very disappointed and surprised to see people drinking excessively and obviously drunk! sitting on the pavement and on public seating In George Street the small local shopping area / pedestrian walk through also the number of bikes that ride in this non cycling area who weave in and out of mothers with punsh chairs, young children and old people. We are disappointed that this dehaviour is allowed to happen, it has been evident on all of our visits, there appears to be no control from the council or the police and it seems that we and local resident just have to put up with this type of behaviour.
