  Very nice hotel really enjoyed every single aspects. The staff is so friendly, helpful, smiley and the breakfast... so tasty. I definitely recommend this hotel.

  Very good hotel with very good conference space/facility. Very adequate for what we needed for our conference. Only down side is the parking is firstly not very noticeable as far as an entrance is concerned and secondly gives you the feel of being in a rabbits warren once you're in there. Breakfast was good though and conference room was very good quality.

  Disappointed by the poor quantity and quality of the complimentary bathroom products. There is a local tesco express just over the road but given this is a Marriott i would have expected bubble bath to be available. Also the coffee supplied was very limited and a bit rubbish, some of the walls were scuffed and paint around the ceiling edges was pealing a little. Bed was lovely and comfy. Staff friendly but would have expected better quality rooms, food served was however excellent. Room service also good but when ordering late the options are significantly limited and rather disappointing.

  The location of this hotel is ideal for those wanting to explore central Bristol as most of what we wanted to see was within easy walking distance and only a matter of minutes away. Similarly, there were plenty of places for a meal (including breakfast if you are not eating in the hotel) within easy reach. Even a Tesco Express across the road if you wanted (which we did) for a picnic. The hotel has attractive public areas and bars. The rooms were a good standard and clean. Did find it odd though that corners were slightly cut on the provision of complimentary tea/coffee - not enough milk for more than a couple of drinks, no hot chocolate which seems to be standard elsewhere. It was good to spend a little time in the Leisure Centre (pool, sauna, steam room, gym and jacuzzi) winding down after a day sightseeing before going out for dinner. The changing rooms were getting a bit tired, but are due for refurbishment. Car parking at the hotel at £16 a day was a bit expensive, but very convenient and covered you up to midnight on the day of departure so in the end was worth it.

  The woman at the front desk, Angela, was outstanding during both my check-in & check-out. Very pleasant and welcoming. The room was definitely above average, my only criticism would be that the sink has a clog and fills up quickly. The bed was quite comfortable and the temperature in the room was perfect. Overall, a very nice stay.
