Love this zoo and have been many times now as it's a great place for a family day out. I would suggest getting there early as it can be hard to find somewhere to park and once the Zoos very small car park is full, it's then down to finding street parking. Make sure you have some change as the street parking is about £1.00 per hour and a maximum of a 5 hours stay. My only other recommendation would be to take a picnic unless you don't mind queuing to get into the restaurant.

Fabulous zoo, had a lovely afternoon....£3 on site all day parking, though the actual tickets were, I think, rather expensive for what's there (cheaper online, definitely worth checking for discounts etc, and using the refund for taking public transport, park n ride, bike etc, details on the main website). Take snacks and drinks with you, unless you're planning to pay a pretty hefty price tag! The animals were all healthy, bright, and in great condition...A real joy, and my Son loved it! Definitely going to go back when it's warmer, and to buy one of the 'experiences'!

We go here ALL the time: parents out there GET MEMBERSHIP! Entry once is expensive, but with membership you can go for only an hour and not worry about the expense when your wee ones get tired. It's a great "oh God how to entertain the children today" activity, and is well laid out, with lots of fun extras and a great park. The cafe is also lovely and set up with kids in mind. But seriously, get membership and rinse it: we're there every single week!

Good variety of creatures to look at. Reasonably priced if bought online. We particularly liked the big fish in the aquarium. The cafe/restaurant is clean and fresh. You can order just drinks even though they hand you a menu. The Gorillas were great. We had a 7 month old baby and baby facilities were good.
