  Poor. Wouldn't recommend cafe. Overpriced & poor service (I went when it was quiet & service was still terrible). Try somewhere else.

  A very helpful assistant gave me a lot of information about chairs even though I made it clear that I wasn't likely to purchase from him.

  Great independent department store with wonderful items in all departments. Particularly grateful for The Bijou Bar and the café.

  Quite a nice cafe and reasonably priced. Don't go if you have food sensitivities or allergies because they were confused about this. Also the coffee served although nice was lukewarm. There are better places in York at the same price.
