::This pub has a real history within Ilkeston, if you look back you will find out all sorts about its history. The landlord has changed a few times over the last 15 years or so, that said they do a great Sunday lunch here and nice food. You can hold functions here and they do have a play area round back for kids (although it is run down) they have a reasonable sized car park and disabled access. Service has always been good, prices average, over the years I have been many times for various reasons.

::Who said I disliked it? I may just have hard to meet standards.. Before we start Google seems to have this Pub confused with a Bus or Train Station ... Strange.. You will definitely get drinks and snacks but you will be a long time waiting for a train! Not really my cup of tea, landlords come and go and the place needs a lot of money spent on it. Food has been nice previously but couldn't say at the minute.. Poor choice of standard piss beer. Had an off pint and it was a chore getting it sorted as only Manager knew what he was doing.. He seemed alright .. Very much a local pub .. Never feel welcome when I go there!
