What a beautiful place Caffe Gallerie is. Surrounded by the most diverse collection of art - we really liked the urban Art. The food is delicious. Susie and the girls are always so helpful, cheerful and polite. A very friendly place to relax and enjoy a bite to eat or just enjoy a latte or whatever your taste is. I’m in there most days - why, because I really like it. We have also had framing done by Tony and Charlie - absolutely excellent craftsmanship, at what we considered a very reasonable price.

Visited today for lunch, had a delicious bacon, brie and cranberry pannini which was accompanied with lovely salad and crisps. The latte was the best I've had in Plymouth and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely making a return visit.

Visited the Caffe to have some lunch and drinks. The place was watrm and welcoming. Ordered Mulled wine and Jerk chicken panini which I can deffiently recommend. The staff were very friendly and I watched as they took time to stop and smile at the customers also thanking them as they were leaving. I was impressed by the way the Gallery was displayed and had catered for everyone taste young and old. I would be visiting this little gem of a place again, and suggest that others give it a try. I would find it hard for them to find better. Well done to the owners and staff

Had a lovely lunch, Thai fish cakes were beautiful. Good value and salad was lovely. Although it was busy the staff were attentive and friendly. Really nice, even popped back for a cuppa after shopping! Will definitely be back.

Sorry - I really wanted to rate this better than 2 stars, but I don't think we'll be back. Visited on a Saturday, late morning, after the 2018 snow debacle, and was looking for late brunch. Tried two other cafes in Cornwall street, finding both packed, and decided to give Cafe Gallerie a go. The fact that there were only 3 other couples in there should have been a red flag. So; Had a latte, and an omelette - my partner had the "French Hot Chocolate", and a salmon light bite. Ordered at the counter, and felt the attitude of the woman serving was a bit off - quite curt. The menu suggested we could have oatcakes with either dish but the response was "Bread roll, white or brown?". Drinks arrived, and both of us were a bit disappointed. I do like a latte, but it is nice to know it has SOME coffee in it somewhere - just seemed milky and scaldingly hot, and we are still a bit bewildered about what made the hot chocolate 'French' - it tasted just like off-brand powdered hot chocolate, and even began to separate after it had been sat for a few minutes. Food followed - Granted, the salmon was alright - and the omelette tasted very good - there just wasn't an awful lot of it. The white rolls were very tough - defrosted out of the freezer I would guess, but we both struggled to cut them up. The salad would have been fine, except it was so well dressed we couldn't actually taste much other than the dressing. The artwork would create a nice environment (Although the Dirty Hans prints probably aren't to everyone's tastes...) if the place wasn't so cold - we noticed we were the only couple in there to remove our coats while we were eating. And the haphazard seating (Some of which seems to be getting a bit worn in places) did make us wonder how things would have worked if it HAD been busier. Overall left disappointed, and with not a lot of change from £20. I quite like to try out smaller cafes wherever possible, but I left kinda feeling I'd have had a better meal, and certainly a nicer coffee from Wetherspoons... Which is sad...
