  Top food here. Both ordered the lamb which as promised fell off the bone. Proper local up market pub. Friendly owners too.. and a lovely resident spaniel

  Cosy pub, good food ,chips could have better and one small gripe, didn't have lemon slice with fish,other than that it was very nice.

  This is the first time we've eaten here since it changed hands and although the interior remains pretty much as it was albeit with fresh decoration the food and service have improved. We had the rack of ribs and a lasagne and both were freshly cooked and delicious. Too big a portion of ribs to eat at the time we were offered a doggy bag to bring the rest home. The starter of Cornish crab was as it should be - tasting of the sea. Refreshingly we were not interrupted half way through the meal to be asked if everything was all right - I hate it when they do that!
