  I have used this dry cleaning shop twice. The first time they told me that my clothes would be ready to collect in one week. I went and they said it wasn't ready, so I had to collect it again at a later time. The second time I took my clothes there I had to collect it twice again because they had not finished by the time they have told me; AND they have lost one of my expensive jumpers. The assistant of the shop has a very bad temper, really unhelpful, and all he did was kept on repeating how they could not find me on the system. The customer experience is awful, they accept your money happily, but once something is wrong or missing, they won't do anything about it, or say you are not on their system. Worse dry cleaning shop I have been to in my life.

  17/05/2011 Imagine waking up to go to work only to discover that your work clothes you picked up from this dry cleaners had smashed buttons on the shirts and also suit jackets and then finally having two suit trousers damaged beyond repair requiring a weekend emergency purchase of two new suits for work the next week. Well all these problems occurred at Chase Dry Cleaners on the Brompton Road over the course of many weeks, each time the owner of the business apologizing and saying that 'it was very strange', promising it will never happen again but the same problem would occur on a subsequent week on an identical item of clothing (i.e. two separate suit jackets). Many people said I was wrong to go back to this dry cleaners again and again after all the recent problems but I did it for the convenience mostly. The problem I saw with the service is that the owner was not able to identify which of his staff was damaging the articles of clothing even though many of the machines and operators working there were around 6-8 meters behind him at the counter, granted he could not be in the shop all the time but at least he should have known who did the washing/pressing etc. but he claimed he did not know, there was no traceability in the work tasks for any batch of clothes. I am writing this as this ordeal has been stressful and it has not been fair on me. These problems have occurred up until the time of writing but stretch out over around 3 months during this year, so be aware of this. I remember no compensation was offered, lots of shrugging of shoulders etc my suspicion was that they were slamming down the dry cleaning press too hard onto the buttons and smashing them but I could not prove this at the time. What got me was that this must not have been happening to every customer otherwise they would have been out of business, I do wonder if one of the younger guys working at the back had some personal grudge against me or thought I was fair game to treat my clothing badly; I would hope that the owner remembers me and if he does provide an honest reason for exactly what happened, to this day it all remains unexplained, I think after the third time I mentioned it to him at his shop I walked out it disgust and told him I would never use the service again (which was a pain as I had to walk all the way up the Earls Court Road to use an alternative dry cleaners).
