  One of our favourite places! Not been able to go for a while....love the new furniture & extended restaurant 😍 Went today for breakfast... excellent!

  A picturesque hotel with an amazing main building. The rooms are not up to standard in the older part of the hotel. No ventilation so very damp air, very tricky to regulate water temperature for the shower. Breakfast is ok, the pub is very cozy and familiar.

  This is is my favourite pub/restaurant although it is a long way from home for me. The bar food is excellent, with a mix of staple foods like steaks or fishcakes, with more original dishes like greengage and almond cake, plus some game dishes like pheasant and partridge, all at very reasonable prices and served in a comfortable atmosphere with a mix of rustic and modern decor. I have been dropping in for 20 years now and never had a bad meal.
