  I recently bought two large specimen trees for our growing collection. The two trees were delivered and both in great health, strong roots, and great definition and shape. I have bought a lot of trees from a lot of nurseries and suppliers - these two were some of the best I have ever received and are now happily planted for many generations of the future. Whilst neither tree was cheap, their prices were very comparable to others, but the quality and size of tree supplied far better. I will definitely return to Chew Valley Trees for my next order, and would highly recommend them, based upon my experience.

  As a trade customer I can highly recommend Chew Valley Trees. The nursery has an outstanding variety of specimen trees, shrubs and hedging and I would suggest taking a look at their stock to anyone with even a slight interest in plants. The service really is second to none and the staff are knowledgeable, helpful and always on hand to help me load up or to answer my questions. I will be using Chew Valley Trees on a regular basis for the foreseeable future. They are always a pleasure to deal with.

  This place was recommended to us and I didn't mind to drive further to get a good service. Didn't know much about buying fruit trees so didn't mind paying slightly more for advice and good quality trees. We were happy with the recommendations (we bought 4 difrent trees). The guy went to get them for us and brought them back all bunched together and put them in the van. Only back home we realised that one tree was flat on one side and the other had damage to the main trunk. It was to late to go back and we decided to rescue them. First one we managed to spread evenly ish by building wooden frame around it, bending branches and tying back to additional supports. It's ok now after three years. Other one didn't quite recovered and although growing, have a permanent scar to the main trunk and didn't fruit yet. All in all a bit disappointed with the outcome of our trip to the Chew Valley trees. Learned allot last three years but that's not what I've paid for.

  Spent a fair amount on trees and hedges but worth every penny. Excellent service including planning, planting and after care. Chris is an amazing gardener and we have been delighted with the quality of plants.

  Such helpful advice to a very nervous and inexperienced gardener. The magnolia is in full bloom in its first year!! The ornamental pear too. Good service good trees. Very grateful.
