  I used City Thameslink almost every weekday for over 7 years and although that thought is profoundly depressing it’s also true that my commute was good by London standards. The station drops you into the heart of the City and is not as busy as other central stations. The trains themselves are infrequent and when problems occur they tend to monumentally screw up everything - even the staff don’t seem to know what’s going on. But that’s the price we seem to have to pay as commuters. Overall - great location and *relatively* hassle free.

  Small station for central London with limited facilities. Does have a handy cash machine and WHSmith.

  Good central station. Only about one more minute further than Blackfriars but much quieter and calmer to wait at. Although the station is not as modern, it is clean and has two main entrances, making it a good alternative to Blackfriars if you're taking Thameslink services.
