  We took our 17 month old daughter to have her feet measured in Swansea Clarks. Her shoe size last time was 2g, although she was apparently barely on the scale. This time the girl measuring her informed us that she was now 3 1/2 f-g and that her current shoes were too small. When she tried on the new shoes they were clearly too big for her despite the girl saying that they were perfect and she would have plenty of room to grow. They were coming off as my daughter was walking around. Not wanting to automatically pay £32 or £34 for tiny (but too big) shoes we went to the outlet to see their choice. She was re-measured at 2 1/2 f and told that she had about 4 weeks growth left in her current shoes! I couldn't believe the confidence of the first girl who was trying to sell us shoes for our young child that were so blatantly too big.
