  Where do I start... I got them to measure my son's feet, twice, on two different days and low and behold, I got two quite different measurements. (This was done in the Trafford Centre store). Then with the shoes I bought for him, the sole began to come away on both feet after only three weeks! After I realised the sole was coming away, I phoned the Stockport store at 9 the next morning to take them back, they said fine but what the person on the phone failed to mention was that the store was going to have one of the busiest days of the year, and didn't even mention maybe booking me an appointment for me. (Which I later found out they could do) There was a ticket system, but all the tickets were strewn across the floor like confetti at a wedding! Never the less I took my ticket and began to wait..... and wait.... and wait! Then after a good while I politely asked a member of staff about an exchange of shoes... to which he replied, oh you can do that down stairs where nobody is waiting! I then went down stairs asked the lady what I wanted and she got on her I pad and helpfully informed me that clarks can be of no help what so ever that particular day and they don't have the shoes I wanted!! After all this, I walked off into the sun set (I'm surprised it wasn't sun set when I left regards to the time I spent in there) with my two kids, a busted pair of shoes and my optimism of getting anything else done that day in tatters! I will say however that the politeness of the staff in Clarks was the same as ever and nice as pie, but I mean come on now Clarks sort it out! Measure feet correctly, don't sell expensive shoes that fall apart, let us know that your going to be crazy busy with the kids going back to school (mine aren't at school yet so didn't see it coming..maybe I should have known...who knows!), get somewhere secure to put your child's buggy and maybe, just maybe let me know that I don't have to wait all day for you to tell me that you can't help me at all! Sorry I sound like a moaning old git, but Clarks... you have created a perfect storm for me not to be happy with the service and shoes for that matter that you have provided. Next time my son needs some new shoes, I think I would be happier to whittle a pair of clogs out of an old lump of wood I might come across in the park.

  I tried on several pairs of shoes in store and couldn't make up my mind as to which pair to buy as they were all very stylish and comfy, as i'm always on my feet doing 12hrs shifts at the Care Home where I work, my shoes have to conform to health and safety standards also and I have always found Clarks Shoes always get me through the day, I also recommended the shoes to 4 girls at work and now they all have the exact same pair as me, Many Thanks for such great service and great quality shoes Thanks, Ms F Fox
