  I booked this hotel for 17 hens, the staff were really friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were to a high standard and very clean. There was a good reception/bar area which was perfect for our large group to meet and have a few drinks.

  Great beds. Very comfortable. Restaurant a little slow on service. Reception were lovely. Windows might need replacing. Mine was taped up at the seams... odd.

  Went to the Clayton on two consecutive days for two different meetings. Had the opportunity to try out two very different meeting rooms; one was perfect for a small boardroom style meeting, the second was able to host in excess of 300. Both occasions the in house staff were able to meet the relevant scenarios with aplomb. Would definitely use them again. Happy to say too that the hotel was happy for the organisers to make use of the spa and swimming pool. Happy days!

  Great gym with swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Also a little jacuzzi as well. The hotel is in the heart of Belfast so only a few minutes walk to shops and bus/ railway stations. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Food here is reasonably priced too.

  The location of the hotel is really good as very close from the city center. The staff is nice and the bar on the ground floor is comfortable. The only problem are the rooms, mine was one for disabled people not clean and facing a wall by the window. I asked to be changed but the hotel was fully booked this night. For sure not the case the second night. Those rooms should not be given to guests. Room not clean, bathroom dirty with stains on the sink, on the floor and holes in the towels, stains on the sheets. Clayton should definitely review the cleanliness of the room and refurbish some of them. For 140€ a night this is not the standards of a 4 stars. The room was depressing. No light coming from the outside. Breakfast in the morning had nothing special and quality was not really good. Only good thing was the nice view of the street and the kindness of the staff. I do not recommend the place.
