  Poor surgery and they are bullies and the communication is rubbish there as well. They do not explain why they are doing things or what they will be doing. No they do things without explanation which is not really on and this has happened a few times and the last straw came when they stopped my tablets just for a check up without asking me could I make an appointment for it before it was due. I made a fuss at the pharmacy and they did back down and issued what I was due. I won't be coming back here again after that as they are there to help you not terrorise you!

  Just read some of these reviews. I thinking hang on am I on the correct GP surgery. We been with the practice 38 years who started in St Mellons Dr David and Dr Jock. We may have to change surgery as we have moved home. Just hope not.This GP surgery have been superb we have seen GP train and then move on. I can say every GP in all the years we never said don't like that GP. I seen a notice how many NO SHOW appointments in a month. Omg unbelievable that's why it CAN be difficult to get an appointment. First class service.

  I’ve only seen one of the doctors here (repeatedly) but she was really nice and helpful. It’s difficult to get GP appts anywhere these days so don’t think there is any point judging by that - it’s a far wider issue than individual surgeries.

  Absolutely horrendous service from this surgery. Went in to see a Dr regarding my depression to which I was told to do yoga, man up and gave me 6 months worth of medication all within a 5minute consultation. Further experience when ringing up to get a new prescription form my Dr was told no pre bookings could be done and I would have to ring on the day to try and get an appointment but nothing could be promised. I rang 2 weeks before my current medication runs out but was told nothing could be done unless I ring on the day even though I explained I needed to pre authorise the time off with work. Receptionist was no help at all.

  Very tough to make an appointment. However have had no issues with care from doctors. When people read reviews remember that doctors are ridiculously stretched everywhere with the number of patients they have to fit in. I agree the booking system is overly complicated but cannot fault the doctors.
