  Great shop. Prices are ok depending on what you need. Find the staff very helpful and as friendly as they need to be.

  Beware of the obnoxious, foul mouthed, bad tempered and malodorous man who lives behind the till of this corner shop! He may be the least helpful and unpleasant shop assistant in the UK. When we went to the till to check the price of an unlabeled pack of 6 beers only to find out it to be incredibly overpriced, we were hounded and told to vacate the premises for wasting all of 7 seconds of this man's life and the apparent queue of customers (which consisted of 1 gentleman who kindly said he'd be willing to wait for me to walk all of 1 yard to the fridge to get a more reasonably priced pack of beers.) Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being overcharged and covered in unwarranted shouting spit from a disgruntled, sad little man

  Perhaps the least pleasant man in the UK works behind the till. Rude and pungent in equal measure, his behaviour leaves much to be desired. Would avoid, lest one would like to be berated by an indignant, neck-beard-having man-child plying his trade behind a suburban Costcutter till.

  Worst shopping experience I have ever had. The shop itself is clean and very well stocked, reasonable prices too, but the level of service is absolutely appalling. Seems to be maintained by what can only be described as a gang of unpleasant men. I was born in England but grew up in India, and when I spoke to them in Hindi they started shouting at me for being racist. One man made very horrible comments about my appearance, and the others just laughed. I became quite angry, describing the medical condition which caused my appearance. They laughed. The time before when I had gone in to buy a pack of cigarettes, the man behind the counter was being disgustingly sexist and patronising to an elderly woman who was trying to purchase something. I believe she left without paying. One phrase he kept repeating was "is that everything, white lady?". My brother also went in a few days after me at about 9:40pm to post a parcel, and was told that they had turned off all the tills and that he should go somewhere else. My brother isn't a very confrontational person, so I went in afterwards to complain and I was told to "be quiet, you weren't here so we don't take your complaint". Absolutely shocking.
