  Worse hair experience in my life!!! PLEASE READ THIS!!!! Never been to the salon before thought I'd give it a try while I was in the area after a friend said it had good reviews!? I'm yet to see one. Appointment was at 10:30am where I was met my a lovely lady who told me to take a seat my stylist will be a minute, I hadn't even sat down and the same girl asked me to follow her over she'll be doing my hair today. (Random but whatever) I told the girl I wanted full head of highlights same as I've had every 2 months since I was 15, I am now 27! After over an hour of putting not many foils in i was given a coffee And left while the girl went to do someone else's hair no magazine offered nothing. After a good hour she came back took me to the sink and removed the colour without even looking if it was ready! She then put a toner on which you never need with bleach as it should strip the colour removing pigments. I then sat with wet hair at the Basin for a further 10mins to which she eventually took the toner off. She then took a tangle teaser from the girl next to us to brush my hair, I had just watched a minute previous another stylist use the same thing on a different client which I wasn't happy about she then started to dry my hair with a brush full of other people's hair! It took her half an hour to dry my hair she put a oil spray on my hair which clumped it together and made it feel horrid! I was shown my hair by the window as the lighting in the salon is terrible with bulbs out across the shop! I paid my £60 and left feeling upset after being in the salon 3 hours!!! I went home and washed my hair to which after looking still had toner on it through the back! I have woken up this morning and had a good look in day light and my hair is ginger on the roots I am not happy and will go and complain today. Please don't get your hair done here it is not worth the money, time you spend there or upset that comes after it

  WORST HAIRDRESSING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. The staff working did not make me feel welcome at all, they were rude and abrupt and I feel the whole experience was rushed. I was not offered a drink or any magazines and I was left for over an hour. Poor customer service. Cut a long story short I wish I stuck with Contemporary. Evidently, you get what you pay for. Even though I paid £50 for a insignificant trim and a brown tint on my roots.Oh… and I was overcharged at the till! The whole 2 hours I was in the salon dragged and I could not wait to leave.

  (updated on 23 August 2012 ) 21/7/2012 I had taken my wife there for her updo before the big event. I was nervous because I hadn't been to a salon in years and had booked a last minute appointment here without a recommendation, am so glad I did, its was the best salon I had ever been to, she absolutely loved it she had tried her fair share of salons, Cucumber salon is simply amazing she has been going there a few times now and she always leave with exactly the cut she wants and feeling like a million dollars Lol, she has also tried other salon in the area but they didint live up to her expectations,the prices are insanely reasonable considering the quality of the work they do basically, you can't go wrong unless you go somewhere else

  I have been there twice now and both the times the staff have been so nice. They made my hair look amazing and did exactly what I wanted! looking forward to my next hair cut!
