  Reading the online reviews for this escape room experience nearly put me off booking, but I am soo glad we went! We had a lot of fun in the ‘crystal maze’ room as a group of 5, including 2 children aged 11&13 (who both could get involved & help solve the challenges!). This was our first escape room experience & I would describe it as authentic and slightly quirky, but loads of fun, different & enjoyable. I highly recommend it. Yes, you have to go up a couple of flights of stairs to get to the rooms, but there is a toilet and a perfectly adequate waiting room. If you are looking for a fancy, polished environment this might not be the place for you. The crystal maze room is not a themed escape room, but it is what it says on the box, a room where you have to solve challenges to unlock crystals! We were looking for a fun and challenging experience and that is definitely what we got! It’s not easy, but there definitely is structure and logic to it, it’s a shame not everyone seems to get this, judging by the other reviews! Thomas was very welcoming & approachable, he is available to offer support along the way if that is what you want /need! All round thumbs up from me!

  I did the Crystal maze towards the end of last year. I really enjoyed it, obviously a lot of thought and preparation has gone into the detail. I'm not great at solving puzzles but I managed one or two & it was a fun couple of hours with friends. I've not given 5 stars as I did feel it's a bit over priced based on location (it's basically a flat with two rooms in it). Whilst I wouldn't say the set up was amateurish, nearly £100 for a group of 7 to solve a bunch of puzzles/riddles in someone's flat just felt a bit expensive. But I appreciate costs need to be covered & these puzzles are reset for each group which must take time. There was also a discount offered if we want to go back & do the other escape room there (but I'm no longer local so couldn't take advantage) so don't be put off by price, just don't expect it to be anything like the game shows on TV either.

  Absolutely not worth the rating it has, don't waste your money on this poorly constructed business

  Not that great on organisation. I have heard others have had good experiences but my wife and I where let down at late notice.

  Did this as part of a work outing with my team. I did "The Cube" room and it was really good. Enough puzzles that even 6 of us were able to split into teams and work on things separately. I'd definitely recommend it! As others have said, it's essentially a converted room which has been given a lick of paint, but the puzzles are great which is the key factor :-)
