::Poorly run facility good at lying to potential members but not giving a hoot about existing customers. The bar area is the worst bar you could imagine - that is - If you can find a member of staff at all to serve you. The only time anything is dealt with promptly is if it's a health and safety issue for which they might get sued, since a guy got blinded in one eye by David Lloyd dodgy equipment. They are just theives - and lazy ones at that. IMPORTANT: PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST OF THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ON HERE ARE FROM MEMBERS OF STAFF WHO WERE TOLD AT THE TEAM MEETING TO GO ON GOOGLE AND FIX THE RATING. Sums them up really, why make a good club that EARNS reviews when you can just cheat

::It is the THIRD Sunday in a row that I go to the club looking forward to a dip in the spa, and then ...surprise, surprise: it was closed. I'm afraid I am sick and tired of being told " Sorry, we're working on it". I have been a member for over 10 years and have never ever failed to pay the monthly fee when it is due. But if I did, I'm sure that saying " Sorry, I'm working on it" wouldn't be good enough. For the amount I pay every month, I expect the facilities to be up and running and not to put up with people trying to fob me off for failing to live up to expectations.

::Good gym but.... not so good staff. The gym itself has its usual problems but I find it to be one of the best in the area. This is all forgotten when I think about the staff. Mis selling... Omitting details of the membership deliberately just to get you to sign in (so they can get their commissions?) Cancelling the 3 month membership was another headache. They ignore phone calls, don't reply to emails. When you visit them in their office they say they will ring you or send an e-mail (yeah right). Only one lady (management related) on my last day seemed interested in knowing the reasons for leaving and even suggested we talked. At this point it was too late. Should have done that before this migraine.

::Went for a child's birthday party. The team looking after them were fantastic and kept the kids entertained for two hours. The party was fun and the food was good. Children and adults all left happy. Can't recommend enough.

::Above average facilities, but I found the prices too much for me to justify. The outdoor pool is probably the only one you'll be able to find open in winter. also has an indoor pool, gym, steam, suana, Jacuzzi. It was never overly full as I initially expected.
