  I received amazing care from the moment i arrived from the surgeon nurses and support staff also the catering staff my operation and aftercare were fantastic.I cannot thank Derriford Hospital and their wonderful staff enough.I am making a good recovery which is down to the fantastic care I received.Thank You to all concerned esp Meavy Ward for a good recovery .

  I have always had exemplary care at Derriford Hospital, whether on a ward or in the Rheumatology outpatients department. The staff are wonderful and my consultant is excellent. Thank you to you all x

  I went into accident and emergency yesterday and from the first encounter in triage to the last doctor I saw today was excellent ; everything was organised not too much waiting around , I stayed in Tavy Ward overnight and I couldn’t fault anything excellent!!!! And thank you to all the hard working pleasant upbeat staff.

  Terrible! My recently departed wife was admitted in October after a major operation abroad and flown to Derriford at huge expense (hundreds of thousands of pounds with thanks to Virgin travel insurance). Lots of tea and sympathy and no reflection on the staff but she was admitted able to walk and left after two weeks bedridden and with bed sores. In the last couple of days of her stay she was transferred to a general ward after being in own room and the poor lady next to her was told she was going to die by a doctor with only a curtain between her and other patients. Disgusting!

  This is my first time giving feedback about Derriford Hospital, this was my 3rd Surgery and I must say that I have had the best care ever on Freedom Unit Level 3. The Staff, Staff Nurse, HCA, Doctor, Surgeon was excellent! They are not rushing you to go home or anything, they are willing to keep you if you're still not feeling better, They will understand you as much as possible because it's for your own good! THEY ARE JUST FAB! Thank you for all the staff's who took care of me 😊❤️
