::We visited earlier in the year to look at different sofa options. They've got a decent selection within the store so we were able to make a selection as to which sofa was right for us. However, the service that we received in store was terrible! We weren't offered any help at all despite two staff members being on the shop floor, when we asked for some help one of them very begrudgingly answered our questions. When we wanted more in depth information about a particular sofa's measurements we were given some figures written down but directed to the website to check that they were correct. Personally, I found it very difficult to get around the store because I am in a wheelchair and in some parts of the store the sofas were so close together I couldn't actually get between them. Some were also on raised areas with other sofas all round it meaning that I couldn't get anywhere near these ones at all. Our two children were very excited and wanted to sit on every sofa to try them all out, this was something they had done in every other shop we had already looked in, it was actively encouraged!! However during our visit here I got the distinct impression that this wasn't ok! And despite my 2 year old daughter actually trying to engage the staff in a conversation of sorts twice, we were largely ignored. I spoke to head office about our experience and got a phone call from the store manager to apologise and assure me that our experience was not what they aimed for at all. We were also offered free delivery if we went back to the store and ordered a sofa with them. Although we were grateful for this I decided that I just didn't want to go back so we ordered online, paying the delivery fee. I have based my rating on both our experience in store and the telephone dealings that I had afterwards with different staff. Without the latter I wouldn't have been able to award them any stars at all but it still can't make up for our experience inside the store.
