Came or breakfast nd to let he kids play. The new soft play is a JOKE for £3 if you are a member or if not £3.50 a child. Its about 13meters wide and 2 meters deep. Honestly the worst soft play area iv seen in along while. Wont be back.

Only really 3.5 stars. The shop is just like any other dobbies. Good quality but a bit pricey. Went for lunch with friend (been a few times before) and as always the service was rubbish. They have a pager system for the hot food I'm assuming to make it quicker but it's not. Never enough staff to cope and only 1 till on when I went. The tables are often dirty due to what seems like lack of staff too. Baby high chair was caked in old food which had dried in on the sides but food was nice. They have a soft play area for kids now which is great but I think the £3.50 admission is a bit much for what's there, especially for the under 3s bit.

They need to reorganise the restaurant. Always long queues. More staff on the coffee and till. Apart from that, great shop.

Visited today for a coffee. Service very slow, 1 assistant (at the coffee section) danced around making funny faces, chatted to staff, poured herself a shot of coffee, drank it from the shot glass and replaced it unwashed beside the milk frothing jugs (I suspect this is used to add expresso shots to the milk) all in front of the queue of customers. At he cake display there was nothing available to lift your cake to the plate. the lady in front of me lifted with her fingers an empire biscuit to show her child who said no and she then retuned it to the display. Approx. 50% of the tables were in use but not one table was cleared of dirty plates. Very poor management - shame

Had a lovely trip to Dobbies Dunfermline, I didn't realise they had a sale on,, so I managed to finish my Xmas shopping in one shop. Great choice ranging from food to furniture and everything in-between.
