::Pretty dire. I feel sorry for the staff who have to dole out the worst coffee I have tasted in the town. The so called cheese scone was only topped with cheese and doughy interior The selection on offer somehow frugal and each sullen piece on plates in careful.arrangement made for a lack lustre sameness of mediocrity. Sad.

::I attended with my partner today to find two staff members arguing within the public ear. Snr staff member attempted to resolve the issue and came back with someone to serve us but were totally ignored, 5 minutes waiting to get served and know body acknowledge we were there. Dissapointed, left feeling hungry and even more dissapointed about hearing staff arguing in public.ended up going to M'Donald's grrrr.

::Large garden centre benefiting from co-existing with Tesco supermarket. The garden centre is, at present, well stocked with lovely Christmas gifts, plants and decorations. Dobbie's cafe/ restaurant makes a welcome break from all that shopping between the 2 stores

::Going to try Simpsons next time..... Used to be a great place for a lazy Sunday breakfast, but on a recent visit we found that the cost of the breakfast has gone up but the choice selection has been reduced. They've taken it to the extreme that the black pudding is almost see through! Overall, it's a shame as they've taken something that was a good thing and ruined it just to make more money. As I said at the start, going to try Simpsons next week......

::Simpsons may be a better option now. It used to be best place for breakfast in Inverness and we'd always buy something in the shop when we were there. Went in today and they have put breakfast prices up by around 20% and reduced the choice. Who doesn't include lorne in a Scottish breakfast, unbelievable!
