  Lovely, friendly staff, clean, spacious changing rooms.. A recent, much needed, upgrade of the gym and equipment has taken this up to a 5 star for me.. A great range of cardio machines, free weights, kettle-bells, tyres, boxing and rope section etc.. Nice atmosphere and friendly members make it worth the higher price.. If i have anything to say on the downside ..It would be that the earlier closing hours Friday to Sunday are disappointing.. Good parking (except match days) nice pool, jacuzzi and steam room.

  Very bad staff . Be very carefull when you sing up they will tell you one thing but the cintract says another . I woldn't recomand this gym to anyone . Plus equipement outdated.

  Recently modernised. Great classes and good location.

  Decent equipment since the much-needed upgrade, but more often than not weights are left on machines or strewn dangerously around the gym with the culprits receiving no sanction whatsoever from staff who are nearby. Incredibly frustrating. Music is far too loud and intrusive. I've had to invest in expensive noise-cancelling headphones which still don't quite drown it all out. The toilets and sink area are frequently dirty. This is turn leaves a foul suspicion about the cleanliness of the equipment. I've never used the pool or steam room for these reasons. Completely random opening hours around bank holidays, which has led to several wasted trips. On the plus side, the off-peak membership is generous in terms of access and the gym is spacious with plenty of free parking. Finally, I keep being emailed about membership offers, which is more than a little annoying given as I'm already a member so unable to take advantage. Some basic marketing skills wouldn't go amiss. I'm exploring alternatives and I suggest you do too.

  I use to use the gym and found it ok but they decided to modernise the gym without prior notification. I arrived at the gym with a plan in mind to discover they removed a few of the cable machines and replaced with something less than adequate that required waiting in a large queue to use. Ridiculous really so promptly ended my membership.
