::I have a Motability car with EH that I pay a lot of money for. There were no carpets and despite it being what I considered a safety hazard for someone with leg issues as I have, this company went to great lengths to avoid putting any in. Not a problem as I won't be renewing my Motability with them. EH was it worth losing my custom for the sake of a car mat. Strangely enough after my 1st service they put 2 carpets in. Too late EH I'm still not renewing and I really can't understand why you keep on emailing, texting and ringing for customer feedback I’ve told you to your face and to a customer service call centre that you suck what part can't you understand.

::Just spoke to Wayne in the service department with regard to an electrical problem I have with my Chevrolet Captiva - he was really helpful. Couldn't expect a better sevice. Well done Evans Halshaw - I will certainly be booking my car in with you in the future.

::Terrible after service!!!!!!!!!!I 1 Feb 2012. Bought a car from Evans Halshaw Newport just before Christmas and was assured I would be able to take it to Cardiff if any problems occured as it is still under warranty. They were falling over themselves when I decided to buy it. When I brought it home I phoned Newport and told them I was taking it to Cardiff as I wasn't happy with the body as rust was protruding.The service dept gave me the ok and names of the service people who authorized it. I took my car to Cardiff and it was there all day. Cardiff agreed paintwork needed doing and said they'd phone me. ...They did and said I would have to take it back to Newport. I phoned Newport and they said i would have to go there . I don't drive out of Cardiff so said how unhappy I was. But decided I'd have to put up with it as I couldn't get there. I wasn't happy.!!!! This week my central locking ceased working so I took my car into Cardiff as it is a vauxhall Dealer . The car was kept for a day again . After numerous phone calls all day and no joy ( twice having the phone cut off when they were putting me through) I went in and they told me it was the fob, they would order another one and it would be with me Wed. On the way home the back of the key came off .(obviously not put on properly) I phoned to tell them and they said the girl dealing with it was busy and she'd ring me back.... she did, a day and a half later!!!! She said that now they would have to speak to Newport as I didn't get the car from them and hopefully order a fob if they authorized it. If not I would have to go back to Newport. No phone call today and my car still isn't working and I'm still in the dark. This is my first decent car and I'm gutted, I have paintwork corroding, central locking that doesn't work, half a key, the clutch has now gone really stiff and my stress levels are through the roof. All this and my car's still under warranty and should have been sorted. My Dad gave me the deposit and has been really ill so he is upset by all this. It is so annoying when you buy something decent and they can't do enough for you and the minute there's a problem the after- service lets you down. I am now going to take it further ...........Thurs today still no phone call !!!!!!
