  I'm probably slightly biased that my mum's welshcakes are the best, but out of the shop baked welshcakes, this one has the best tasting, flavoursome cakes. I prefer less sugar on top though & they could be a bit bigger, especially for the price at 50p each, compared to 30p in Cardiff Market who sell the ideal size, but their flavour isn't quite as good as Fabulous Welshcakes. I'm kind of a welshcake connoisseur. The taste, consistancy & appearance can vary from place to place but everyone has their personal preferences i guess.

  These welshcakes are absolutely amazing. buttery smooth just that melt in your mouth kinda taste. Not only that the sell other welsh products as well. Highly recommended PS 50p for one welshcake trust me - you'll thank me later.

  Welsh cake is one of the important things that you should di in Cardiff. Fabulous welsh cake is the place to tray it fresh and tasty.

  Aptly named. If you've never tried Welsh cakes freshly made, give this place a go. Delicious!

  Great little shop, brilliant Welshcakes. Bought 36 traditional cakes to take back to the office in Hampshire after a week away in Cardiff and they were gone by lunchtime, with many compliments on how nice they were. Thank you to the lady who served me, your advice on keeping them as well as possible until I went back to work was perfect.
