  Calm oasis with a space for coffee and a kids book corner too, perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle 😊

  I am sad to learn that this shop is soon to move to a new location with less space for stock. As it stands the amount of stock in this shop is already limited, with very few academic books which is surprising (and disappointing) for a city with two universities. The saving grace for the shop as it is are the friendly staff and the excellent coffee shop on the first floor where you can watch the world go by in the street below from the large glass windows. Sadly the view will also be lost with the move to a new location. With the closure of another large bookshop on Park Street over the summer this year, and the move to a smaller premises for Foyles, could this be the end of large bookshops in Bristol?
