::Just returned from 5 days at Street Somerset. Hotel Wessex was ok , needed a bit of touching up here and there. Food excellent 10 out of 10. Staff were fantastic, entertainment ok. Trips out , well the trip to Wells via Chedder Gorge on Tuesday morning good, but whoever arranged the trip to Kilver Court retail park wants SHOOTING, most back in coach within 15 minutes. Wednesday morning trip to Taunton , castle and museum. Cannot understand why afternoon to Yeovil just more shops. Would have expected on both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon we would have visited some historical site, that's why we went on this trip to this part of the country. Most people on the trip were elderly and I am sure really did not want the visits to the shops and more shops., you can do that at home. We had a good driver who went out of his way to show us places, viewed from he coach. If I go again with GB would want more detailed information on where and what we would be doing at our destination. GB do offer a good service just need to have someone check out the day trips and consider who are taking these holidays with them.

::Just returned from a 5 day trip to Ireland. We stayed at the earl of Desmond hotel. The hotel was well run and everything went smoothly. This is very good hotel, but it must be borne in mind that most of its business comes from coach tours. You therefore must have your meals at the specified times. Not really a problem. The food was of good quality. We left from Ellesmere Port and arrived at the hotel quite late at night, caused by traffic congestion in Dublin. Our coach driver was Mark, he was also our guide and great company on the tour. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark, I can't praise him highly enough. The only negative was the crossing coming back from Dublin. We caught the 2.30 catamaran crossing (The Jonathan Swift), I would not travel on this again, the sea wasn't rough, but many people felt sick on the crossing. My wife was quite ill after the crossing. The crossing to Dublin was fine on the Ullyses. We will be using GB tours in the future, and will be more than happy to see Mark as our driver.

::Excellent service and great VFM, GB Tours are so good, we have had several trips with them and never had a bad experience. All of the day trips are included so you get to see and learn about the place that you are staying in and all of the hotels they use are really nice hotels. We will continue to travel with them and enjoy meeting lots of new people who live locally, a way to make new friends.
