Avoid most ghastly obnoxious manager we have ever encountered. Staff are vile, they abuse there power and position, made formal complaint and now issued legal proceedings. Have lost teeth to the negligence suffered immense pain due to the unprofessional reception and management. No body in England should be expected to wait for a week with serious dental pain. I can state both practices are incompetent as they are managed by the most rudest jobsworth of a manager. After using both genix practices I would advise everyone to stay well away. They do not expect anyone to request an email to complain they believe by bullying patients and refusing to treat people they are above the law. See you in court scum of the earth!

Awfull dental practice. Receptionist very unfriendly. Had my partner and children's appointments cancelled twice now by them. And they rebooked on good Friday, which i doubt they will be open so they will be cancelling again no doubt. I have now signed up for martonside dental practice and have pleaded with my partner to do the same.

Unfortunately I have to say a terrible service. I always arrive 10 mins early for any appointment. My appointment time was 12pm. Still waiting at 12.30pm to be told the dentist had messaged to say they would be a short delay. When querying how much longer was told would be another 20 minutes. I'm sorry but I don't feel 50 minutes late to be a "short" delay. Unfortunately this isn't the first time I have been kept waiting an unacceptable length of time. What I do find interesting, whilst waiting in the waiting room you have 2 receptionists both making calls to customers. One calling to advise of the next days appointment times and the other calling customers to change appointment times due to dentists not being able to get in on time. When you have posters all around advising of hrs lost by missed appointments, do you not feel that you should lead by example?

Unable to get an an emergency dentist appointment even when ringing at 08:30 as advised. Only alternative offered is waiting over a week for a standard appointment. I am starting to doubt emergency appointments are even available.

I arrived today at the surgery in order to get my chipped tooth fixed. I booked the appointment on Monday and explained what needed doing. Each time I go I see a different dentist, so had no idea who I was booked in to see. Mr Magson called me in and said "emergency?" I advised I don't think so as i booked the appointment on Monday, he said the appointment was for a couple of minutes to get my tooth shaved. I advised what I called for and what needed doing. For the next half an hour he was in and out, obviously not happy as I had a check up for myself and my son already booked in on the 24th, with another dentist. I was not aware of who either appointment was with. Whilst he was in and out I was talking to the dental nurse Abbie who was very pleasant and apologised for the delay. He eventually said I was going upstairs to see Alex. I went upstairs and was asked what tooth I had my "severe pain in". I explained I didn't have any pain, but a chipped tooth. In order not to fix my tooth today, he told the other dentist that I had severe pain, which is untrue and never mentioned. I proceeded to get my tooth fixed by Alex and his dental nurse Clare, who could not have been anymore helpful and friendly. The service received by them was brilliant. I am absolutely appalled by the attitude of Mr Magson and saw no reason as to why he could not carry out what was needed, as the tooth took less time to fix than the half hour he had me sat in the chair, whilst he was passing me off. I am glad that I am now booked in for my next appointment with Alex, as my new dentist, which was advised to me by the two very helpful receptionists, one was Helen and unfortunately I did not get the other girls name.
