  DON’T USE BLACKBURN BEDROOMS Beware if you’re thinking of using Blackburn Bedrooms at Childwall five-ways for fitted bedrooms. I spent well over £5000 having bedrooms fitted and was initially delighted with the work. One of the bedrooms had high gloss covered doors which after 4 years had started to lift at the corners. I rang and spoke to the owner Geoff Blackburn who told me his mum was in hospital dying and he’d come out to view them as soon as he could, this was November 2015. He eventually came to view them in February 2016 and said he’d replace them. This went on for over a year, excuses were he’d been diagnosed with epilepsy, his marriage had broken down. Excuse after excuse until the guarantee had run out and he told me I’d reported it after the guarantee ran out (which I hadn’t) and he wouldn’t be doing them. Took him to court, he didn’t show on each occasion and the judge ruled in my favour saying he’d have ruled in my favour regardless of guarantee time as you’d expect a much longer life span than we actually got. He was given 7 days to pay me the replacement costs and court expenses which he’s now refusing to do so I’m not going to go away, I’ll go back to court or put it in the hands of the bailiffs. I’m sorry if I offend anyone who works for Geoff Blackburn but I’d recommend highly than you don’t use this company. The man is a liar and can not be trusted. Please feel free to share this post xx
