It's OK. Getting better. Definitely not haute couture the only designer gear you'll get is powder and tabs.

Went to subway here..... Value for money is great here when your hungry, and need a snack for your lunch, or evening meal. Service here was good. Moreover, it was quiet at the time we were there, although became busier later when people started to go home for the night....

Home bargains are great, Iceland is handy for grocery, and farm foods, great wee bakers Macdonald and Greg's, also subway, local post-office card factory its essential everyday living with a bank of Scotland and a underground station on hand, and bus station,

Local shopping mall However the 2hrs set for parking not long enough - I was in at Xmas - went to McDonald's the bakers for breakfast, PO, Peacocks, Home Bargains then Iceland on way out. Now have a parking ticket and a demand for £140. For a shopping mall on my door step where I have resident parking! If you want to have local people shop locally instead of at Braehead or Silverburn this 2hr time slot needs to be reviewed. And signs need to be clearer ( in more direct sight ie on entrance walls/doors). I do use frequently and until I got his Notice Charge through I never paid attention to the signs now I see them! Local business needs to discuss this!

I call this place "The mall of despair" full of tiny locals all in need a wash and healthy meal. Each end of mall smells heavily of smoke sue the sheer numbers smoking just outside the door at any one time. There are grannies with their trollies, people fresh out the on-site dole office, and typically a bandaged individual straight from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, not to mention the copious charity/salespeoole vying for your attention. Go to people watch, go for the social anthropology go for the unique experience, but know why you're there - Don't go to shop.
