::Ideally located for all the fun Blackpool offers. Car parking for £3! Our double room was lovely, clean and warm on a cold March evening. Brilliant value for money!

::Absolutely disgusting the worst place I have ever stayed. The food was poor the rooms are filthy there was hair all over the bath room and the furniture was falling apart. My advice is don't waste your money on this place. It should be shut down.

::Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted by the receptionist who was polite and courteous... That is the only good thing I have to say. The downward spiral started from here really... We made our way to our room through a hallway which put politely smelt like the crack of an elderly bed ridden sumo wrestlers arse. The room was shabby, old, tired and dirty. The cleaning team were obviously pushed for time when attending our room and gave it a miss. We left the room to attend a concert at a local venue and upon returning to the hotel the corridor was a good inch deep in water. According to the staff when we complained they said it's a regular occurrence and not to worry it will have dried a bit by the morning. Feeling a little bemused I asked to speak to the manager, who either genuinely wasn't available or cared about his customers in the same way as Dr Harold Shipman... I am beginning to feel like the latter as he hasn't responded to my complaint to this date. They advised they would cater for a gluten free diet but there was no alternative if you didn't like the one item they were serving. Not to mention no deserts... All in all I wouldn't house a stray rabid dog in this damp, run down health hazard. Be warned...

::Absolutely disgusted with this hotel. We had a very important function to attend and were looking forward to going to a lovely room to get ready. The first room we were given was dirty, outdated and smelt, once we complained we were 'upgraded' to a basement room - wow didn't think things could have got any worse, boy was I wrong!! Stained chair, overpowering damp smell, cold, dirty, the list goes on. Outside the room the corridor was a health and safety risk, holes in the walls, floor coverings lifting up and very dirty and marked walls. We complained again only to be told we could not have a refund due to the manager not being on shift, once we explained we had photos this changed and our money was refunded. We then had to book and locate another hotel at a rush as a lot of time had now been wasted with the staff not dealing with our complaint promptly. Needless to say, we weren't the only guests walking out that evening! Shame I can't give zero stars.

::Our room was nice. it was pouring with rain outside and loads of leaks inside. Raining inside and out. Staff were nice and friendly. Hotel needs loads of repairs doing to it but its so big they will probably never happen. Stayed for two nights it was a nice break. Nice location.
