  Not great access for disabled users or people with pushchairs. No lift and poor signage about doors & ramps suitable for wheelchairs. Main entrance not suited to people who cant walk up steps.

  Decent room and decor in the hotel, nice food, although took a while to be served both evening meal and breakfast, evening meal especially was worth the wait, and very friendly bar staff. The shower in the room on the other hand was just rubbish, no pressure, running hot and cold and just not good enough. Great location to get the train.

  Spent a day here on a training event. Great venue with on-site parking, large room with lots of windows that open (how I hate sitting in dungeon-like air conditioned training rooms!). Great refreshments - nice coffee and a choice of caffeine free teas - and a lovely lunch that included good gluten free for me. Clean, pleasant decor. Wifi was OK. Overall a great venue. Update 19th December Sadly the venue has gone downhill. Here all day for another conference, parking was impossible (competing with Christmas shoppers) and food was uninspiring and dry. 3 stars.

  We had a fantastic work function. Best surprise was the food. I wasn't expecting the finely and colourfully presented quality dishes. The staff were very attentive and organised. The main areas and bar have an old style charm. Thanks for the party. Can't comment on the rooms as haven't stayed before.

  Being right opposite the train station is ideal for me as I have regular office meetings there. Friendly and helpful staff. Although the room I've stayed was a little backdated but the facilities overall were reasonably in good order. Good service and the food was great!
