  Amazing bar & restaurant to be in evening. I went there this evening with office colleges. It was fun. The ambience was superb and staff was really sweet. Nice to see people playing darts while drinking beer. My chicken pudding was really amazing.

  Easy to find, relaxed atmosphere, sports always on the television. Helpful staff, lots of activities to do, open plan, lots of room and outside area. Parking available too.

  Ok... nowt special the food took ages to arrive nice decor downstairs... toilets smashed to pieces!

  My girlfriend and I were looking for somewhere that we could try and eat a low carb meal - its tricky when everything everywhere is covered in a sugary sauce and comes with chips. The grovesnor's menu is a typical pub menu but a good amount of the food does come with seasonal veg. The barman and chef were fine with us swapping stuff like potatoes and chips for veg and coleslaw. The service was very quick and the food was cooked well; I had a rare rib-eye steak that was properly coloured on the outside and red on the inside - juicy and tender. I'd also rate the food as being good value for money - a 10oz rib-eye for around £13 seems good to me.

  Lovely bistro style pub. Good beer and atmosphere. Very popular so be advised on waiting for service. Food is good though a tad expensive... Expect to pay £8 to 14 for a burger. Lovely place to chill and nurse a pint catch up on sports and meet friends.. would be 5 stars if not for the prices. Though you won't regret a visit.
