  Food is ok for price especially if you get a deal. Not sure it'd be my first choice considering other pubs in the town centre offer much better quality at same price. Handy because it has the parking outside. Seriously though sort out the disgusting mouldy state in the toilets which happened due to a leak on the floor above. Lady who runs the bar is extremely friendly and excellent at her job.

  Recently renovated the service has improved recently however you still need to pre order for large groups so they can manage the kitchen. Nice place to get something to eat or grab a drink.

  Good Food. Though Waitress staff need re-training, which is a shame after all that money spent on re-furbishment. Was given a large dinner knife and fork to eat a Prawn Cocktail served in a small glass fruit dish. Presentation wasn't good either. Some of the older staff waiting on tables are a bit snooty, possibly deaf, or just simply can't be bothered to be nice and helpful. On the plus side, its nicely furbished, has plenty of tables, and good car park, with disabled parking and access too.

  Lovely hotel and bar. We went for some lunch. Good menu and value for money. Beautifully decorated. We sat next to the fire, it was so warm n cosy on a wet,cold afternoon. Excellent service and lovely staff. Will return here .

  A beautiful old building decorated traditionally. Lovely bar and very friendly staff. The rooms are well equipped and comfortable although a bit of noise from the busy roads but nothing major. Breakfast was beautiful, a well cooked full English and a continue selection too. I can recommend the pubs original lager, very tasty!
