A bit of an undiscovered gem, first floor restaurant that you need directions to find. Its next to a takeaway accessible via a spiral staircase that's almost an optical illusion. Facilities are basic and the choice of drinks is limited but try the Ethiopian "St George" beer, honey coloured with a matching sweetness. The menu is simple, chicken, lamb, beef and vegetarian curry options, mild, medium or hot, all served with Ethiopian injera bread and eaten traditionally with the fingers. The food is delicious, we had a range of curries and vegetables, all plates cleaned. It's very good value at £70 for 6 people including a beer each it's definitely worth a visit

Gets three stars instead of two because the staff were lovely. Otherwise the food is over hyped. The place is dingy.the curries are very bland. We ordered the lamb and beef dishes. The lamb one was alright. Make sure you visit the toilet before you visit as the toilets are from a horror movie. I don't understand the concept of injera(the dough or bread) which they serve with the meal. The fermented taste just didn't agree with me Won't visit again as the food just wasn't to my liking. And this is coming from a huge curry lover

Visited with a friend, having never tried Ethiopian cuisine before. The interior of the restaurant doesn't give the best first impression but the food was amazing! The waiter was attentive and really friendly, he explained how to eat the the food in the correct manner - using the sour pancake to scoop up the curry-like dishes. Great value for money too!
