::I was getting a twanging sounds when turning the steering wheel, took it in for a suspension check as I’ve had this in the past from a broken coil/strut mount. Halfords said the car was fine, just a loose exhaust bracket. The noise didn’t stop so I went to ATS, who looked at it straight away and took about 2 minutes to find the strut mount was broken.

::My car went in for a full service fully expecting it to raise a few faults given its age and mileage. I received lots of good feedback from the team and repairs done at a fair price. They told me about some observations that would need looking at in a few thousand miles. I didn't leave with that feeling that I'd been ripped off and felt happy with the work carried out. To be honest, I wasn't sure about Halfords servicing my car but I'm converted and will use them again. Great job Halfords!
